for well over a decade now we have actually reviewed very few soccer games over the years. We're not sure why, but in any case it's probably important to note that I, personally, am going into this review with little benchmark to base the games quality upon.
Mighty Ape have not indicated that this offer of a free T-shirt is ONLY one size. Size L. You have NO option of choosing a size that fits you.
At first glance the changes made to Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 might seem like a bunch of slight, almost superficial tweaks; you'd be hard pressed to find one standout feature from its long list of AI improvements, new tactical moves, or graphical revamps.
Slower pace gives you more control; Much improved ball physics; New defending system is more natural to use; Plays a great; classically scrappy game of football
New moves are tricky to master; Untouched single- and multiplayer modes beginning to show their age; Dreary and dated presentation; Terrible commentary
For everyone that absolutely needs to have the latest game from their favorite series, here it is. You don't need convincing. If you haven't played a Pro Evolution game since 2011 pick this one up. It's different enough to be worth it.
It's a very good game, better than the 2012. It doesn't get the 5 stars because no longer has the function to make a team with random players from 4 chosen teams...
Once again, PES has improved in a number of areas, but falls short in the all-important gameplay. And please Konami, fewer menus next year.
Solid online; Master League is a nice ‘RPG-like' mode
Gameplay is still poor; missing key franchises; could be called A Game of Menus
