Persona 4: Arena

Offering little in terms of spoiling the previous titles, and doing a great job of leading you through the hoops of its own, P4A seems to have eloquently bridged the gap between poetic story and prosaic fighter.

fun port from Japan

best venture from Persona universe - involves both P3 & P4 antagonists - storyline complex enough that overlap is intriguing and not expectedly boring...

strong story & graphics

required to see text (even on rapid auto read

Decent fantasy fighting game, but filled with swearing.

Parents need to know that Persona 4 Arena is a fighting game set in the surreal fantasy world of the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona video game franchise. Players battle a series of characters and monsters from the previous games in the series, along with their partner known as a "Persona.

Persona 4: Arena PS3 Review

You have to hand it to Atlus. Originally released on the PS2 , Persona 4's critical acclaim in both the East and West quickly gave rise to a slew of marketing spin-offs, including an anime series and movie, mangas and novels, and even a live stage performance in Japan.

Persona 4 Arena - Review

With so many excellent fighting games already on the market, it can be hard to pick just one to invest the time with. The obvious choice would be something like Injustice: Gods Among Us or Tekken Tag Tournament 2 .

Accessible fighting system; Surprisingly deep story; Highly stable when online

The dialogue can drag a bit; Slightly lacking in characters; This is a late arrival in Europe

Different but familiar

I absolutely love fighting xbox games, the Persona series, and Arc System Works, the masterminds behind Guilty Gear & BlazBlue, so naturally 1 would think this game would be a smash hit.

Bore -sona

When Persona 4 Arena it was first announced, it seemed totally bizarre-a fighting game based on a story-heavy RPG, and canon to boot? Against all odds, it won me over big-time, and proved not only that it could continue the Persona story that fans wanted more of, but it went one better by combining...

That intro really got me pumped to play

I have absolutely no recollection of who Marie is

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax (PS3)

When the name Shin Megami Tensei is mentioned, two responses usually crop up: "Oh, I love those games! But they're so long..." or "Huh?". For those of you in the latter category, some background might be needed. The rest of you can jump ahead.

Great fighting mechanics; intriguing story

Story is confusing if you don't know the Persona games; controls have a very steep learning curve

Persona 4 Arena

Game was on sale, but my son didn't like it at all. Not his thing I guess, and I think this may be an expansion of another game, which we didn't have so this one was pointless.

Persona 4 Arena - PlayStation Network Review

Persona 4 Arena , for some inexplicable reason, has been long-delayed in Europe since its initial release across the arcades last year. A traditional 2D fighting game created by Arc System Works and Atlus – the developers behind the Guilty Gear, Blazblue and Persona series respectively – Persona 4...
