Excellent all-round Prime Lens

**Not a professional photographer alert** Fantastic little lens. Compared to the 14-42mm stock on my GX1 this is a world apart. As small as you can get, very bright, and decent auto focus. So far I've not noticed the loss of image stabilisation in my other lenses.

Nice fixed length micro 4/3rds

Good quality fixed focus lens. It matches the Panasonic Lumix GX8 nicely for size and weight, giving a good street and general photography outfit with a focal length similar to human eye.

Easily Interchangeable; Lightweight; Strong Construction

This LUMIX G 20mm F1.7II lens is an update to the original LUMIX 20mm F1.7 pancake lens made popular by Micro Four Thirds system photo enthusiasts because of its razor sharpness and compact size.

Great Film Making Lens (Or Low Light)

This lens is beautiful. The depth of field is super nice, and even though it lacks stabilization, the G85's built in stabilization makes up for it. I bought this lens instead of getting the 25mm because with a MFT sensor, the 20mm ends up being like a 40mm.

Small, sharp, fast lens that's a little slow to focus and little noisy.

Love the compact pancake size of the lens, and the field of view is pretty versatile. The lens is noticeably slower to focus than other micro four thirds primes (Olympus and Panasonic 25mm lenses for example), even in good light, but it is still very usable.

Panasonic LUMIX G 20mm F1.7 II ASPH Lens Silver - BRAND NEW review

I've been using this glass for about a month now. Very sharp (quite noisy while focusing as you will know if you read or watched a single review of it), nicely build and great for traveling due to compact size. I like how f/1.7 separates subject from the background (almost a 3d feeling).
