OnePlus are a company that have interested me due to their range of mid-priced high-spec flagships. They're a market disruptor. From the front you have the large screen with hardly any bezel thanks to the notch up top. This is how a smartphone should be.

Now, we have to get this out of the way right now – the OnePlus 6 is not our favourite phone of 2018 so far. That trophy is still clutched tight in the clammy grasp of Huawei's super-sexy P20 Pro.

We're a little late to the party evaluating the OnePlus 6, but boy are we glad we circled back around to check this highly tuned Android flagship out. The OnePlus 6 could be the sleeper phone value of the year so far, with great performance and features, at a very competitive price point.

Absolutely delighted. Almost everything works incredibly well. Only negative is the mono speaker, as well as the vibration engine setting options. Would like to see the possibility of setting even lower vibration strength (specifically when pressing back / home / last) but I'm a little skeptical...

Throughout the review we kept comparing the OnePlus 6 to its predecessors — that’s because the OP6 is actually a substantial upgrade to last year’s 5T instead of being a completely new model.

The OnePlus 6 exceeds expectations in so many ways we can now rightfully call it a flagship killer.

The OnePlus 6 may have been superseded by the 6T, 7, and 7 Pro, but this is still a great phone if you can find it on offer. What OnePlus has done is nailed all the most important stuff and made a phone that offers excellent design, specs and performance at a great price. So for most people, the 6 is an absolute bargain.
