Excellent people. Had some issue with my product they work with me very promptly and professionally to fix it. Would buy again from them, waiting for them to have d800.

Nikon should do a recall on this lens for the price I paid. There is a self fix on google, but you have to take the whole lens apart.
great lens except for one big flaw
The zoom sticks between 45-70mm
Best standard zoom on the F mount by far (for FX) - only downside is the size and the price tag.
Insanely sharp - f/2.8 - Weather sealed - Good bokeh - Very fast focusing
- It's $1800 - Quite large for a standard zoom
I purchased this lens prior to going on vacation in Hawaii. My purpose for buying it was that I was having great difficulty in the past with photographing luaus, lava tubes and other lowlight events.

Worth every penny if you're making large prints. Even if you aren't the sharpness is so high you can do some nice cropping. This lens is something special.
Outstanding contrast/saturation! Metal body; Weather sealed; Sharp as some primes and contrast that beats most; F28 allows narrow depth of field; Focuses like lightning; Versatile zoom range Performs admirably on the D800
Pricey but worth it
I have purchased two of these for use in the studio and for outside portraits. we shoot alot of pictures- mainly seniors - and they have performed up to expectatins.

Fast aperture, high-performance. Lens optimized for edge-to-edge sharpness on both the Nikon FX (23.9 x 36mm) and DX format image sensors.

This is a Pro lens, and commonly referred to as the middle lens of the 'Holy Trinity'. The Trinity of lenses are, 14-24mm f2.8, 24-70mm f2.8, 70-200mm f2.8. The reason I invested in this lens was for the pure fact that I do weddings and a lot of portraiture work for my business.
Best standard zoom you can buy for a Nikon. AF is very snappy, build is amazing, contrasty lens, and images are very sharp wide open. By far the best lens you can buy to capture those special moments.
Consistent Output; Strong Construction; Rugged; Very Sharp; Fast / accurate auto-focus; Durable
Heavy; Expensive
This lens works great with my D700 for low light wedding photography. The bokeh is great at 2.8 and the autofocus is fast as can be. I recommend only using this lens with a full frame camera. I occasionally put it on my D90 but the results are not the same. Overall, I am happy I got this lens.
