Adding to the line of DSLR cameras, Nikon has come up with another model i.e. Nikon D5100 , which is a successor of the very famous D5000 DSLR snapper of the Nikon family. The new member of the family is built with CMOS image sensor and EXPEED 2 processor, giving you exquisite image quality at 16.2...

Still getting to know it.

This is a well-built, well thought out camera that has more features than I'll ever need. Even though I'm still learning all the features I like it and would recommend it to any aspiring photographer.
If I had to change one thing..

Easy To Use; Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus; Good Image Quality; Large Clear LCD

Lag / Shutter Delay

We've found that each camera has its pros an cons, and none of them are perfect. The one that's right for you depends on your needs!

Nikon D5100 HDSLR Camera Review

Feature rich, excellent image quality and great low light performance make the Nikon D5100 a strong contender in the sub-$1,000 price range.

External microphone port; Supports optional geotagging; User selectable focus points; Great color reproduction; Strong low light performance

Onboard microphone picks up everything; Dedicated ISO button would be a plus

Shutter is very slow, not for professional shooter

NIKON D5100 16MP Digital SLR Camera I bought a Nikon this time thinking I would have richer colors and better shutter speeds then Canon. Nope. It takes nice photos but this camera is for amateurs, not professionals needing more features for what is spent. Back to Canon next time I buy a new camera.

Nikon D5100 review

Although DSLRs are becoming increasingly complex and feature-rich, manufacturers are trying to make them easier to use. Nikon has been at the forefront of this development, over the last six months we've seen the Nikon D3100 and now it's bigger brother the Nikon D5100.

Best Christmas gift ever

Love this camera. It takes great pictures. I just have to read the manual for all the things it can do. With kids, it's great, no more waiting for the camera to focus and the flash to warm up with a point and shoot. This is like a point and shoot but gives you instant and great results.

this is like a point and shoot but gives you insta
