Scrolling without a scrollwheel? For the new Microsoft Sculpt Touch Mouse, that's all in a day's work.
The Microsoft Sculpt Touch Mouse is a compact wireless mouse that connects via Bluetooth and has been designed with the touch-centric tiled user interface of Windows 8 in mind. With that in mind, instead of a traditional scroll wheel it features a touch-sensitive strip that's capable of horizontal...
Ambidextrous design; Bluetooth connectivity saves a USB port; Comfortable to hold; BlueTrack tech means smooth tracking; Mac compatible
Non-rechargeable; uses AA batteries
I was looking for a Bluetooth mouse with programmable buttons primarily for web browsing to replace a Microsoft USB mouse that had become inconsistent in accurately playing macros.
would be solid for a standard mouse; bluetooth is seamless
only one usable programmable button; touch strip very inconsistent
This is the second microsoft bluetooth mouse that I will have to return because this one also didn't meet expectations. I am honestly trying to like it, especially because I don't want to return another mouse, but I simply can't live with the touch strip. Comfort is quite good.
I love this mouse, it looks like some people have had a hard time with it, but mine worked very well. Pluged in the USB, my Windows 7 did its thing to install it. Then it worked… I love it,
Bought this on recommendation of store clerk. I liked the sleek design & was told it could scroll horizontally. I haven't had much success with scrolling either direction. I haven't done well without the traditional scroll wheel.
Comfortable Design; Easy onoff button; Learned To Use Touchpad
Odd scroll feature
very nice but disspointment as there was no blue tooth adaptor supplied and one will be needed with some computers for it to work
Blue tooth; Ease of use
No Blue Tooth Adaptor
I don't know how to use this mouse or it just don't like me. I had the older Arc mouse and it worked great. So i was time to get a new one, had this one for years, beginning not to work right . So went lookin and saw this new one. I don't like is at all, hard to use. Taking it back to the store..
the look
use of it
I bought this mouse yesterday and went back today to exchange it for a mouse £35 cheaper (£45 cheaper at full price). The major problem with this mouse is the scroll tracker: it doesn't really work properly as it's not particularly responsive.
This mouse seems well built and feature laden for Win7. Like the other reviews I find the scrolling to be intolerable: freakish behavior, too fast or too slow, difficult to control, the cursor at times just jumped around with no control, pages fly by. Very difficult to use overall.
