*Out of the box, I found the sound a bit boomy, but after removing the case and using only the front face in open air, these are some of the best full-range speakers ever! *Stereo separation is quite good, and they provide a rich, well balanced sound the way I have them set up.

Good sound quality for the money. Rich, clean (not boomy) bass and strong mid range. A little weak on the highs, but I fixed that with computer controls. Beautifully designed and finished, and very compact.

I have a mediocre laptop that is not anything flashy but manages to do the job, however there are times when I want to listen to music or watch catch up shows to BBC I Player or demand services and end up having to put earphones into the laptop just so I can hear the content, as even with my laptop...

Reliability

I bought a set of these speakers for my P C and they did not last six months. Sound went out the window, just not happy with these speakers at all. I will not buy logi tech speakers again. Now I will be off and try to find a better set next time.

Upon arrival the speakers seemed worth the price - good quality construction, fair quality sound, easy to set up and use. The placement of a headphone jack at the front is useful should you need to temporarily use a pair of headphones. The cables are of a decent length.

I was so excited to get these stylish speakers, after having my old cheapies for 9yrs. I went home, plugged them in and was so impressed by the full sound and tidy look. However, in a matter of months the flaw surfaced.

Good speakers for the price -- you'd have to go up to $60-70 to get noticeably better sound. They're better for movies and music than most laptop speakers, have a handy volume control dial, and the headphone jack on the front is a lot more conveniently placed than the jacks on my desktop PC.

Sound quality is very good and the speakers aren't that large so you can cart them around and hook them up to multiple PC's. I think it's a shame that it's powered via an adaptor as opposed to the computer itself, but I guess you can't have everything.

For the price, sound and looks, these speakers are great.
