Last year, Lenovo announced their first generation ThinkPad X1 Yoga 2 in 1 computer and it did pretty well when we reviewed it early last year. It had the combination of the X1 Carbon series and Yoga series laptops smashed together to make one hell of a beast.

I got this for work a couple of weeks ago. It runs quickly and smoothly. I don't have any particular complaints about it. The finger print scanner is useful in my opinion. Time will tell how long it lasts but it seems hardy enough. It arrived way before expected which was ideal as I use it for work.

The screen is absolutely phenomenal. Blacks are BLACK and the color is very vibrant. The screen has 100% sRGB and 98% RGB! --Made of 'super magnesium' and carbon...very quality feel to it. --I love how they brought back the mouse buttons above the trackpad --The keyboard is spectacular.

Ultrabooks are a wonderful thing, but they're known to require compromise: you get this (usually thin and lightweight construction), but you have to sacrifice that (let's say battery life and durability).

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga has just flipped into the limelight at , where I had the chance to get my hands on it. The biggest change for longtime ThinkPad fans is the addition of a new colour option – in addition to plain black, you can now buy all the high-end ThinkPads in silver.

The Lenovo X1 Yoga is the best laptop you can buy for typing. ThinkPad laptops' reputations for quality isn't like some folks' obsession with vinyl. There's no nostaglic retro ritual element here. The keyboard is just great.

The OLED edition of Lenovo's X1 Yoga makes a good argument for moving past LCD screens. Its display is bright and vibrant, but you'll pay a premium for the privilege of using it.

After months of heavy use, I came away very impressed with the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga. The build quality was outstanding and in keeping with the ThinkPad tradition. Performance and battery life were impressive considering the thin profile and light weight.
