LEGO The Lord of the Rings Review – Xbox 360

With so many popular gaming franchises out there, LEGO has probably become more famous in gaming circles than the plastic toy building blocks that inspired them, and now Lord of the Rings joins the growing family of classics like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, and...

Awesome!

Love it! It shipped to me and wasn't damaged in any way. The game was sealed up so I didn't worry about previous damage. I'm mildly concerned with the fact that it says "demo" on the disc... but everything seems to be working fine! I love Lord of the Rings and I love the Lego games.

Easy to learn; Fun To Play; Kid Appropriate; Multiplayer; Same As Film

Exceeds your expectations. The sheer amount of things to do, replayability, unlockable items/characters. I spent 2 hours just running around the village destroying objects to accrue lego money before moving onto missions (and doing the same thing) Its visually sumptuous.

Loved, loved, LOVED it!

This was the first Lego game I ever bought and it got me hooked on all Lego games, it was sooo good! I was surprised by how much I liked it. Any Lord of the Rings fan will appreciate all of the cute and funny characters and clips in this game. One of the best games I ever played.

Xbox 360 Review - 'LEGO The Lord of the Rings'

Just in time to capitalize on the nerd furor for " The Hobbit " movie, Warner Bros. has released LEGO The Lord of the Rings . A video game adaptation of the three films , the title strikes just the right balance between the books' majesty and the trademark LEGO slapstick humor.

Xbox 360 Review: Lego The Lord of the Rings

Lego The Lord of the Rings is the best Lego so far, Middle-Earth is great to explore and new elements like side-quests and forging items are added, but maybe the Lego games need to change as the formula is looking a bit tired.

LEGO The Lord of the Rings – The Verdict

My last adventure with a LEGO based video game was the extremely disappointing PS Vita port of LEGO Batman 2 , so it was with great pleasure that I installed my PC based copy of LEGO The Lord of the Rings knowing that I would be getting the experience I missed with the handheld version of Batman in...

In other LEGO reconstruction, "Travellers Tales" goes to the depths of Mordor to take on the "Lord of the Rings" trilogy. One ring, one block, and one of the most celebrated fantasy stories of all time.

Another faithful LEGO-rendition; Middle-Earth has been Legoized, More depth has been added to the standard gameplay, Clever writing and use of the source material, No "milking" here – the entire trilogy is represented

While interesting; the sandbox style takes away its pick-up-and-play appeal; Still some ongoing gameplay qualms; Middle-Earth isn't as visually vibrant as other "Lego" titles

Lego The Lord of the Rings review

The Lord of the Rings, it turns out, is the perfect source material for a Lego game. A story in which small things turn out to hold great power and small people prove to have enormous courage, the core ideas of inverted scale that have made TT Games' series so popular are woven through Tolkien's...
