Lego The Lord of the Rings: The Video Game

LEGO games are a curious breed. Whether it's Star Wars or Batman, Harry Potter or Indiana Jones, they all deliver essentially the same core experience – make your way through X number of levels, destroy everything in sight, and solve puzzles through a mix of LEGO construction and character-specific...

Lego Lord of the Rings for Xbox 360

This is a great fun family adventure game. The ability to move across the map in day or night mode is very unique to the Lego games and it follows the...

Overall this is a very worthy addition to the Lego games collection and definitely has replay value

As a fan of both the Lego games and Lord of the Rings I knew I had to get this game when it came out. This is the first Lego game I've played where they actually use dialogue from the films and at first I thought it might ruin the humour found it in the other games but this isn't true, they've still...

Awesome!

Love it! It shipped to me and wasn't damaged in any way. The game was sealed up so I didn't worry about previous damage. I'm mildly concerned with the fact that it says "demo" on the disc... but everything seems to be working fine! I love Lord of the Rings and I love the Lego games.

Easy to learn; Fun To Play; Kid Appropriate; Multiplayer; Same As Film

LEGO Lord of the Rings Xbox 360

Despite these minor niggles, this is arguably the best title in the Lego series to date and, with the recent release of the Hobbit, it is likely to...

Amazing adaptation; Music is great; Plenty to do; Vast replay value

Exceeds your expectations. The sheer amount of things to do, replayability, unlockable items/characters. I spent 2 hours just running around the village destroying objects to accrue lego money before moving onto missions (and doing the same thing) Its visually sumptuous.

Exploring a plastic version of Middle-earth is immensely satisfying in Lego The Lord of the Rings.

Those who have never played one of the many Lego games developed by TT Games might find it difficult to believe that a beloved franchise such as The Lord of the Rings can benefit from a simplified narrative and family-friendly gameplay.

Tells the familiar story in a satisfying way; Lots of goodies to uncover; Exploration is encouraged and fun; Faithful to the spirit of the source material

Stages can get repetitive when played alone; Occasional bugs can sometimes annoy

LEGO The Lord of the Rings

Yes, another LEGO game. Have TT Games run out of juice or is this Hobbit-sized adventure worth checking out?
