A third person shooter that lets you manipulate gravity. Sounds pretty cool right? On paper I bet this was awesome in execution though it isn't. Inversion came out around the time of either Gears of War 2 or 3 honestly i don't remember because I was most likely playing Gears.

Cookie-cutter shooter with bland characters and the gravity defying antics don't even come close to saving this game's plot and dull gameplay. Pick this game only if are really out of choices. Warning: no local co-op play on the X360 version.

Inversion is looking to take the macho third-person shooter and turn it upside down.

Avoid at all costs - game is dreadful, total clone of Gears of War without the good bits. Never had so many cheap deaths, ie shot through cover, enemies developing one hit kills. Online is totally dead as well, absolutely no one playing.

Not a bad game, reminded me a LOT of Gears of War, incredibly similar game play, camera style and even buttons...

Inversion arrived in stores at a time when pretty much everyone in the video game industry was distracted with the madness known as E3.  It is not too often we see high profile top-notch games launch during this week, so I have to admit I was a little skeptical of this game before I even fired it up...

Can I fully endorse Inversion as a must-buy shooter? No. Can I endorse it as a must-try shooter? No. Can I endorse it as a $15-$20 purchase a few months down the road? Eh...sure, why not? Inversion isn't terrible, but it's nothing we all haven't seen before in other games.

Inversion is let down down primarily by a lack of ideas: its gameplay is nothing new (the use of gravity is not unlike gameplay we've seen in Prototype, Gravity Rush or even Portal), while its multiplayer is disappointing considering the successes of others in the genre.
