We spent the better part of a month with the Huawei P30 Pro, and it's time to share our findings on Huawei's current top handset. You might have spotted our dedicated P30 Pro Camera Review, which we recommend reading, but we'll summarize things for you if you don't.
Excellent camera performance; Innovative Night Vision and 135mm Zoom; Very good build quality
Not the best display at this price; Computing performance could be better
Imagine the speed at which technology has evolved if in the last hundred years, we have gone from silent B/W films shot on celluloid to audio-rich 4K HDR videos shot on smartphones.
If you are looking for the best of the best in camera phones then this is definitely worth a look. There are few dents to its armour though...
So, to conclude, the Huawei P30 and the P30 Pro are fantastic top of the line phones. For me, I personally feel like the P30 is a better value for money, but for those who want all that smartphones cameras can give, the P30 Pro is the better choice.
Despite how you might feel about its rumored ties to the Chinese government (or lack thereof), Huawei has undeniably made some of the most technologically advanced phones of the last three years.
Big zoom telephoto lens, unique image sensor, excellent battery life, stunning color options, tons of features No official U.S; support, lower res screen than most of its competitors, EMUI can feel a bit clunky, no CDMA compatibility

The heat waves have just begun in North India which will surely take the entire region in its grip in days to come and make people sweat. The same implies for premium smartphone segment as well with the Huawei launching P30 Pro making its immediate competitors like Apple, Google and Samsung sweat...
The Huawei P30 Pro is the best camera phone on the market and keeps Huawei firmly on the camera throne where they've been securely ensconced since last year.
The market’s best mobile camera with 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and revolutionary night mode. Lightning-fast charging, reverse wireless charging, strong performance and plenty of other usable functionality. Best value top range mobile phone right now.
Semi-poor voice quality with sound created by screen vibration. Lacks stereo sound because of this. MicroSD cards are not supported, and the camera’s AI features seem mostly for fun. Glides if not laid on a 100% level surface.
The P30 Pro's headline feature is clearly its quad camera system, but there are plenty of other things to like about it. The in-screen speaker system works well, as does the in-screen fingerprint sensor. The OLED display is superb, and the battery should last all day for most users.
Camera system is unsurpassed by any other phone; High-quality OLED display; Very good battery life; Novel in-screen call speaker; IP68 dust/water resistance
Glass back looks good but is slippery to hold; Disappointing speaker; Proprietary NM (Nano Memory) external storage; No 3.5mm headset jack
A ground-breaking handset with an unparalleled camera array
Super camera technology; Gorgeous design; Large Battery
Expensive
