Editor's Review of the Desire C

Much ado was made about the Desire C's Ice Cream Sandwich capabilities. But when the processor seems unable to keep up with its own OS, then you have to wonder whether it was worth force-feeding ICS into it.

HTC Desire C Review

With Nokia switching most of their efforts to Windows Phone there's very few "featurephones" coming onto the market. It's left the door open for cheaper Android smartphones which, despite dropping a few specs here and there, still give owners access into the large range of apps and games within...

HTC Desire C

HTC currently makes some of the most desirable-looking handsets around, notably all three smartphones in its One range - the HTC One X , HTC One S and HTC One V are all stunners.

Once upon a time, the . The has taken that mantle in 2012, so the Desire is now reduced to propping up the bottom of HTC's smartphone lineup. The HTC Desire C retails for $229 but features the Beats Audio sound profile, comes with integrated 25GB Dropbox storage and has a 5-megapixel camera.

Good design and build; Relatively low price; Decent battery life

Can be sluggish at times; Abysmal camera; Limited internal memory

It is just an awesome phone. it have 600 Mhz processor but it runs the device smoothly and 512 MB of ram is pretty decent for this device, and Beats audio is best you can feel the difference, so don't wait just grab it

HTC Desire C: a decent little budget Android

The HTC Desire C is an odd creature. Its looks are reminiscent of the higher-end devices in HTC's smartphone alphabet, and it runs the same version of Android that comes pre-installed on flagship phones like its big brother, the One X, and Samsung's Galaxy S III.

HTC Desire C review

Anyone remember the HTC Desire? I was a proud owner and user of this handset until way beyond its sell by date. I grew into it quickly, really liked it and it felt like a great phone. I wasn't the only one, either. The Desire was an extremely popular mobile and I still see it being used today.

Nice chassis design; Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich; 25GB Dropbox storage

Slow processor; Relatively poor screen; Average camera

Don't judge a book by its cover!!

The picture In the book does nothing for the phone. I was delighted when it arrived. It comes well packaged in a lovely box (very handy for keeping charger earphones etc in). The phone is lightweight, very easy to work, it comes with Apps already installed but its so easy to download games, books...
