EVERY TIME you go to print, it has to do "maintenance" - sucks up ink and takes forever. don't leave your printing til the last minute! We got it last fall sometime. I got all new toner cartridges on Nov. 1 and I had to replace them again before the end of January, and we don't print that much!

Little familiarisation is required as the instructions/display are clear and concise. The printer performs as well as expected and offers excellent value.

I won't go through the capability of the printer, you can get that on the box. What I will go through is my setup experience, positives, and disappointments. Setup was quick, as per HP, they are very proprietary software driven.

This printer looks good, smells good and prints beautiful prints....with good reason...Default print settings.... 600 DPI Even in draft mode it prints at 300dpi. Can you say "HUNGRY" As in Ink! It's going Straight Back Today! 1 - Star for the company screwing the consumer.

Quick and easy to set up; Fast mono printing; Ink subscription could cut running costs;

Significant slowdown when printing colour; Disappointing photo print quality; Inferior scanner;

Not compatiable with Windows 10 software. No use to me.
