HP's LaserJet P2035n monochrome laser printer is quick and it lets you print using custom media. However, the cost of its consumables and the lack of automatic duplexing make the asking price unreasonable.
Decent print speeds; Bonjour compatibility; accurate text; can print on custom media sizes
No automatic duplex; sparse configuration options; consumables are slightly expensive
very good
Doddle to set up, prints very quickly but VERY NOISY
Very pleased. Easy to connect and works very well.

HP does not include all cables needed to make the printer work. They do not unclude a USB cable. You need to buy that separately. How chintzy.
Exact replacement for a failed unit I had
Different generation; incompatible toner
My office has about 20 of these printers since the 1300 was discontinued. More than half of them cannot print envelopes without it saying there is a paperjam when the only problem is the feeder will not pull the envelope. We go through ink like no other for the price of $100 per cartridge.
It's a very good no nonsense printer. However the Amazon description is not correct because it does not have an ethernet port and therefore is not ready to be networked. I had to dig out an old Netgear printserver and parallel port cable in order to put it on my network.
I got the printer and set it up. Installed the Drivers off the CD and then plugged in the cable. Turned the printer on and it came up with Error 50.2 Fuser Error. Called HP and they quickly determined that the printer I have is 220 Volt.
220Volts
