I brought this item for a holiday I am yet to go on, but since then I have found myself using it at family occasions. It's nice to get group photos with everyone without worrying about cutting people out

I've been using the Hero5 Session for capturing skiing videos and it's been working great. On really cold days I use a waterproof frame to help block the cold air and it helps the battery last longer.

I was hoping the new Sessions would have less vibration on the wing of my plane and it does! The video looks great and I'm so glad I upgraded to a 4k Hero 5 Sessions camera.

First off I want to say that the review from MuseumGirl is wrong, you don't need a cellphone at all to use this camera. It just makes it easier to change settings, and use as a viewfinder as this doesn't have a built in screen.

I bought this camera as a small compact waterproof model and, according to GoPro, a simple to use product. It is absolutely not simple, it is fiddly and the controls are not intuitive.
