This game should be BANNED for being so violent. It has excessive amounts of blood. The game doesn't focus on friendship, only killing people with guns and axes. At some points, the enemies shoot you, which is not nice.

Hmmm idk. Perhaps if the multiplayer wasn't about being let down by the system, by the horrible connectivity, and just overall lacking in everything... maybe it would be at least playable. Oh and being able to active reload without having to fire any shots stupid stupid decision.
Nothing
What a pitiful excuse for a game; Being a long time gearhead I figured hey why not it can't be as horrible as judgement was in its entirety or have multiplayer as bad as Gears of War 3; I wish; story sucks, multiplayer is horribly broken and sucks worse.
I've never been one to jump onboard "special edition" consoles or peripherals, but I'm happy to say this one time I'm pleasantly surprised and extremely happy. The joystick looks really cool (the claw marks by the buttons are AWESOME), feels great and performs excellent.
Pros: Campaign was great! Lots of fun for 7.5 hours! Cons: Very disappointing multiplayer. If even one player drops on your team, which happens in 3/5 games, you are hard pressed to win the game. Bots are only added on "social" playlist in which you cannot select the game type.
This is a great addition to the franchise! So happy I've bought it. The graphics look amazing. And the game play (in general) is awesome. A must buy for all you Gears fans :)
GEARS OF WAR 4 REVIEW (XBOX ONE) Campaign/Story I thought the campaign was outstanding. The story follows JD and his COG colleagues Kait and Del on their quest to save their villagers and family from the swarm. I enjoyed playing against the new enemies and defeating the boss at the end of each act.
great story; new features
poor multiplayer in my opinion
Arguably EPIC's favoured child, Gears of War has always been about going in hot, going in loud, and pretty much every other euphemism for blowing shit up and chainsawing things open. It has always b
Campaign is incredible; Looks amazing; Refined Horde Mode is fantastic
Characters feel a little unwieldy; Story is more set-up than pay-off; Multiplayer can be impenetrable
Editors Note: This review is as spoiler free as possible. Read on and enjoy! We return to Sera, decades after the Locust threat has been destroyed. The wildlife has come back. The planet has had time to restore itself.
Intense and engaging story mode; new fighting techniques; engaging story; beautiful graphics; movable bases for Horde mode; regenerating ammo in Horde; interesting modes for online play
Skills in Horde locked behind cumbersome level system, initial Horde gameplay drags, some A.I; problems in campaign
I never expected to compare to The Force Awakens, but I couldn't be happier to do so. Like the latest chapter in the story from a time long ago in a galaxy far, far away, Gears of War 4 is directed by a new generation of creators, shares a lot of similar narrative structures to the beloved first...
Gears of War 4 IS Gears of War : it taps into everything that makes the franchise the action-packed classic it is and pulls it together to create the highest tier of enjoyment and bad-assery that's both rewarding and impressive to the end.
