(Xbox 360 Review) Forza Horizon

Forza Horizon is an attempt to fit the tried-and-true Forza formula into the mold of an arcade-style racer, using a pop-culture-heavy festival theme to tie it all together. For all of the pomp involved, with fireworks constantly shooting off and bands playing in the distance, Horizon is at its...

Forza Horizon

Cars are sexy. Festivals are cool. A car racing festival must then be cool AND sexy, right? Such cynical logic has been the downfall of many creative efforts smashing two disparate elements together but in the case of Forza Horizon, it actually works.

Forza Horizon review

Forza Horizon eschews the series' usual strict racing structure to deliver an open-world driving experience similar to some of the fundamentals experimented with by FUEL, albeit with significantly better execution.

Excellent presentation; Large open world with lots to see and do; Huge range of car customisation options; Highly adjustable difficulty and driving levels from arcade-style to simulation; Good variety of race events available.

"Story" seems like an afterthought; Plenty of inane dialogue

Forza Horizon

DLC nagging aside, Forza Horizon is a solid arcade racer, if not the hardcore open world sim some were hoping for. There are plenty of challenging and enjoyable game hours here to be had, not just across the single-player mode, but in terms of leaderboard chasing and online racing, so long as the...

Plenty of game challenges; Beautiful scenery that makes exploration fun; Some unique race events

DLC nags; Fair level of in-game grinding required for cash; Won't please the full-on simulation crowd

Forza Horizon

The Forza franchise seems to have taken a very slight dip in the eyes of the racing community over the past couple of years. Whilst we've always thought that the game has been improving year after year, people for some reason, seem to be less interested.

Forza Horizon (Xbox 360) Review

I admit it; I am a driving game fan, from arcade based to sim-oriented racers I try to play them all.  I also admit that I have been a Forza fan since the game was first launched on the original Xbox and I have played every incarnation since the franchise's beginning.

Fed Up With Forza

Forza Horizon continues the franchise's backward slide into inaccessibility I initially started this review after playing a significant amount of Forza Horizon, reasoning that the experience to that point had been sufficiently similar that I could write about the game in good conscience.

Forza Horizon (X360)

Rising petrol prices be damned. If you gave me a Lamborghini Aventador and beautiful open roads... well, first I'd tell you Mumbai potholes are the Aventador's Kryptonite, but then - forgive the cliché - it would be pedal to the metal.

Gorgeous visuals; Interesting events like racing hot air balloons; Cars are a pleasure to drive

Music gets old very soon

Forza Horizon Rally Pack

If there's one problem we regularly find with open-world racing games like Forza Horizon , it's that they're usually less about racing and rather more about driving . That's not to say we haven't been impressed at the way it sets about hyping up rivalries (both of the AI and human variety), but...

"Hmmmm"

This will be interesting, ill definately be buying it but ill be keeping forza 4 as it appears to be nothing like conventional forza. But its still forza so imagine will be a lot better than the NFS games of the last 5 years.
