Bionic Commando

This sequel to the 1988 Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) original is testament to Capcom's and developer Grin's well-trained eye for delivering superb fan service. While it is a slick, highly-accomplished title in its own right, its painfully steep learning curve may put some players off.

Everyone should at least give this a try

Okay. here's the thing, this Final Fantasy title somewhat feels as if it different from all the rest. At first when I played this, I thought to myself: "This isn't Final Fantasy!" And I shuddered at the thought of having to use the battle system it offered.

Final Fantasy XIII

So, here it is. The most anticipated RPG of all time, the latest entry in the most hallowed of gaming franchises, and the title expected to give the beleaguered PS3 a foothold in its native Japan where it's a Sony exclusive.

J-RPG Let me be your fantasy. The (or FF from now) series is probably the most recognised JRPG in the West and has come to represent, for many, the pinnacle of this genre.  It is as renowned for its lavish production values and over the top cutscenes as it is for being extremely traditional and...

"Keep Trying Square"

Nothing against online based games, but I for one am glad to see the final fantasy series return to where it belongs, console gaming. MMORPG may be where the money's at but fans of the series shouldn't have to dish out the gil for monthly fees or be caught up in levelling for bragging rights.

its final fantasy; graphics; fmvs; length

music; no replay value; 50/50 characters

Happy with the fast delivery.

I received the game within 2 days within Standard Delivery - So that was very good. On arrival the outer box was damaged with creases - however the game inside and all the accessories were in good condition.

Pretty Good Deal...

Even if you don't like Final Fantasy XIII, you can more than likely take it and resell it for store credit at a big box store, and you're still getting a top-of-the-line 360 plus store credit at a box store for no charge. Otherwise, if you can find a better bundle on New Egg, go with that.

It's a game, the 360, two wireless controllers, AND a new 250GB HDD; Basically you're getting the game for free

The game is Final Fantasy XIII; which looks really good; but you spend the first 20-30 hours walking in a straight line and pressing the "A" button; occasionally; pressing up or down

All in all, I had a great time with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. The story doesn't make much sense, but the battle system is really fun and addictive and kept me coming back. And despite the overwhelming nature of having so many subsystems to keep track of, leveling the characters and upgrading stuff is...

Fun battle system; replay value; lots of distinct playable characters; good music; difficulty options

Confusing story; uneven visuals; too many subsystems
