Fable: The Journey Xbox 360

It's been a long and not altogether smooth road that Kinect has travelled since it was released two years ago.

Fun but restricted

Like other reviews, it is a brilliant game but you can't just do what you want, you have to go along with the story, instead of turning evil and raiding towns in other fable games. Despite that the game is brilliant and a lot of fun.

Fable: The Journey Review

Are you a fan of the Fable franchise Did you hear about Fable: The Journey and rush out to pre-order it or consider buying it upon release Did you think to yourself, "How bad can it be, it's still Fable even if it only supports the Kinect

Innovative Kinect gameplay style; Theresa's backstory is explained

Fable: The Journey

What with Microsoft's unexpected release of Fable 3 to anyone with an Xbox Live Gold account last month, here at SquareGo, we decided it was time to visit upon the Fable series with the strange and curious oddity that is Fable: The Journey.

Fable: The Journey (Xbox360)

When I heard that there was a new Fable coming out I was very excited, but along with many other fans of the franchise I was a bit nervous about the fact that the game is completely controlled using Xbox 360's Kinect motion sensor.

Fable: The Journey

Fable: The Journey is the fifth title in the highly popular role playing series from Lionhead Studios, but its the first to be played completely on rails using a Kinect sensor. These unique features make Fable: The Journey unlike any other game in the series, and it will be the biggest reason some...

Fable: The Journey review

Motion control cannot be recalled. It cannot be uninvented. But, like the fake plastic guitars of the past, the stereoscopic 3D of the future and all those other tech gimmicks that sizzle in and fizzle out, it will in time be removed from our video games.

Fable: The Journey is Lionhead Studios' latest addition to the Fable universe and the first to incorporate KINECT. This time, rather than being an open-world to explore, the Journey is on-rails which is something that hard-core fans of the series have been worried about.

Good use of Kinect when it works; Amazing visuals as can be expected from the series; Voice commands are a good feature rather than a gimmick; Excellent story line (expect some of your questions regarding Theresa to be answered; Boss levels are fun and full of action; Extremely well done cut scenes,...

Riding behind your horse gets old very quick; Although the mechanics work well, and it's entertaining at first, it's just too much, Calibration seems to be lost the longer you play requiring you to exit your quest and popping into the main menu to recalibrate, When there are multiple attackers and...

Fable: The Journey

When the Kinect is sober enough to reveal the better parts of The Journey, magic can definitely happen. But even if Fable The Journey worked flawlessly, it wouldn’t be the most exciting or daring game to ever come about.

Fable: The Journey

Pity the poor Fable series. Once upon a time, it was a proud steed that carried whimsical yet deep role-playing gameplay away from the land of PlayStation into the kingdom of Microsoft.
