We purchased the Dyson a year ago and were impressed with how well it cleaned our carpets. The canister was filled up a couple of times when we first started using it. The canister is emptied by releasing the door on the bottom and everything falls out and that is an issue, the fine dust floats back...

I was sold at one point on Dyson. I bought the above or near same animal/heppa filter with a five year guarantee. Think of it five years! What a JOKE, went through three motors and now I'm using it as a planter. Repair shop tries to tell me no worries this never happens.

Brilliant hoover in our house with having 2 dogs & 2 cats (one being white long haired and sleeping on the landing) It used to take me an hour to hoover the stairs and landing, now done in 10/15 minutes.......excellent

Even though this cleaner has a smaller capacity than our previous Dyson, it is heavier and a struggle to get up stairs. Despite this the product is excellent at picking up debris on the carpet. I have never seen it so clean!

Been using for two years now. PROS Great Suction. Tangle Free Tool is great for removing dog hair. CONS. The turbine brush slings dirt and debris everywhere. My opinion is that it spins too fast. A slower brush with higher torque and brushes that grab would be better.
