Definitely a unique game, and I highly recommend it, but I figured I should list a few criticisms. It can feel like the world is a bit empty here and there, and it also feels like there's a bit of a learning curve.

Dragon's Dogma is an action RPG for the PS3 that offers an open world to explore, tons of miss
Great graphics and fun boss fights
Cumbersome menu system; somewhat unbalanced
Took a chance on this game since it looked cool, and boy am I glad. If you like rpgs, like breath of fire 3, and breath of fire 4, I have a strong inkling you will like this capcom game too. I put alooota time into it just to put more time into it, because it's just that much fun.
There are a lot of unique ideas in this game that really sets it apart from other RPG games. The world is vast and the effects are impressive. It also has some of the best boss battles in any game in my opinion. I would have loved a more interactive online mode to join with friends.
Every once and a while a new game comes by and grabs you. You start it, only wanting to finish, to see how far you can go, to see what happens next. Dragon's Dogma certainly is one of these games.
Please keep in mind i have only owned this game since midnight (8 hours), my mind kept telling me this would be a bad buy but thank god i listened to my gut.. I am personally sick and tired of the review process, sometimes i feel like they didnt even play the game (joystiq) and although this had...
The best part is this Asian version recognizes with the North American version of the original save data! I got all my bonus and I start where I left off from the vanilla version. The gameplay is as stunning as the first game.
Death is your faithful companion beneath Bitterblack Isle. It's soaked into the very walls of the gothic demesne that ensnares your party, permeating the bones and bodies that litter the bleak labyrinth sprawling ahead of you.
Biterblack Isle provides 10 or more hours of tough adventuring; well worth the price; Intricate level design; massive unpredictable new enemies and plenty of new items; Original game is still a massive; visceral and quirky proposition
Still graphically primitive despite HD texture pack; hopeless ye olde dialogue; Bitterblack Isle is sometimes unfairly cheap as opposed to satisfyingly difficult; Wonky clamber camera; long NPC pop-in; Pawn idiocy and other annoyances remain; WHERE'S DANGAN ?!
Dragon's Dogma, Capcom's take on a Western-style RPG , sees you take control of a heartless chap known as the ‘Arisen'. Now that might sound like a bit of a personal attack, but the poor man literally has no heart.
Brilliant boss battles; The story eventually heads in an interesting direction; Good customisation; Strong combat; Pawns are a great idea
Uninteresting characters; Fussy inventory and map system; A lot of dull side-quests; Normal enemies lack variety for such a big game; Looks ropey for the most part
Dragon's Dogma excels in every single aspect I could hope for, and also exceeds that hope to the greatest degree. Yes, it may not be perfect, but I can't think of any game that is perfect. However, Dragon's Dogma is the soul reason I play video games. It's fun and it's a masterpiece.
Innovative Mechanics; Excellent Combat; Massive Open World
Occasional Lip Sync Issues; Difficult Game; Occasional Camera Glitch
