"(For the one sentence truth, go to the bottom) General Review Intro: Marketed as an enthusiasts or even beginner DSLR the canon Rebel t5i is equipped with many bells and whistles, including in camera editing and effects and a twist flip swivelling LCD touchscreen.
Canon's latest addition to its iconic Rebel series is the EOS 700D – a DSLR built for the intermediate photographer. Although we could see a slight resemblance of this camera to its predecessor, the 650D, the more we gazed at it, the more differences we could spot.
Excellent quality Canon DSLR camera bundle, came with excellent add ons, including telephoto lens to 250mm, prime lens, 3 pk filters, travel tripod & table top, battery charger also works in car for rapid charging. Came with 3 batteries instead of 2! Memory card.
Sitting at the top of Canon's consumer range of DSLR cameras, the EOS 700D is an upgrade to the EOS 650D. The notable improvements include sturdier build, redesigned mode dial, preview for creative filters and higher Live View refresh rate.
I have family members with more expensive cameras that pale in comparison to this one. It far exceeds my expectations. People frequently ask what camera I use after viewing pictures. It is a great camera.
I have never seen any other camera compare to this; The picture quality is fantastic; This camera pics up things I can't see with my own eyes; Colors are spectacular; This is an easy camera to use; The lens makes a perfect match for this camera.
A little heavy No cons really
Best value I could find for Canon 700d Beat all rivals by £100 ..... I have wanted this camera for a couple of years...but too pricey...TESCO made it possible for me....a dream come true... Its first use the Taj Mahal.....made by day.
Canon EOS 700D review Canon EOS 700D is the 'flagship' device in company's entry-level consumer DSLR range. Canon has included some creative features as well as a very responsive capacitive touchscreen to make sure this camera appeals to first time users as well as those looking for an upgrade.
Bought this for myself, for Christmas. I am a fan of canon and have owned several, my last canon is 350d and I still use it. But what a leap in quality and technology , the 700d is perfect for beginner and intermediaries, the 18 megapixel makes sharp and crisp pics.
The Canon EOS Rebel T5i is essentially an unsurprising DSLR. It delivers good image-quality and reasonable performance in a typical entry-level body. The design of the T5i clearly follows the Canon mold and will be instantly familiar to Rebel users. This DSLR produces quality images.
Low image-noise; Good metering system; Accurate autofocus; Exposure-Priority Live-View implementation; Generally responsive; Good construction; Relatively light
Some image softness; Limited dynamic-range; Too few AF points; Small and dim OVF; Instant-Review delay; Buttons too flush
