Canon EOS 650D

The EOS 650D replaces the popular EOS 550D at the top of Canon's entry-level DSLR line-up, sitting just above the EOS 600D. Many features from the 550D continue in the new model and, like its predecessor, the EOS 650D has been developed as a high-performing camera newcomers to DSLR photography can...

As an older person I find the controls difficult for older stiffer fingers ans the controls at the back too close to thumb area when shooting . Other than that I am very happy having previously used a a 300d and now upgraded a bit, love Canon products .

Good battery life; Quiet; Nice features/settings; Quick Start-up time; Excellent image quality; Bright LCD; Solid Operation; Lightweight/Portable

Difficult to use; Complicated controls/menu

Canon 700D Twin lens kit

This is the kit I recommend to the Mums and Dads who want an easy to use DSLR for everyday family photography but also have kids who play sport and need a camera capable of capturing there little ones in action.

Targeted at the more amateur user stepping into the world of advanced DSLRs, the Canon EOS 600D is the latest kid on the block of its widely accepted Rebel series. Christened the Rebel T4i, the camera is the big brother of all the other cameras of this series dating back to the Canon EOS 300D and...

Canon EOS 650D

Clever use of a touchscreen display and a vast improvement to autofocus performance on video and stills makes the 650D the best all-rounder for amateurs

Almost a 7D, but not quite.

The latest model in the EOS Rebel lineup offers a nice jump in functionality from it's predecessors, the T2i & the T3i, for a reasonable price. I bought the T4i as a backup for my 7D,, I mainly shoot youth field sports and motorsports.

Quicker & more sensitive AF; Speedy 5 frames-per second; Video Liveview AF

Digic5 processor throttled by small buffer; fiddly Touchscreen

However, it's worth remembering that that the 600D/Rebel T3i was priced at £679/$799 RRP body-only when it came out in April 2011, yet today it can be found for around £499/$579. It shouldn't be too long before the Canon EOS 650D street price becomes more palatable as well.

My experience with the Canon EOS Rebel T4i Digital Camera

I wanted a good quality camera so I could photograph my life, the people that are around me, nature,

Takes crystal clear good quality pictures when being used properly; and easy to use

Broken when I recieved it; Kind of bulky to carry around everywhere

Canon EOS 650D

The Canon EOS 650D (called the Digital Rebel T4i in North America) is a new DSLR camera that sits above last year's 600D / T3i at the top of Canon's entry-level EOS line-up. The 18 megapixel 650D / T4i offers a dual AF system which ensures sharp stills as well as continuous autofocus tracking when...
