Overall the Canon EOS 600D scores above the average model; however, it's not without its flaws. Look past these, though, and you've got a great entry-level DSLR
Right now, I'm a new SLR user but so far so good. I'm using all the basic instructions in the booklet, and I've been able to figure everything out. I'm experimenting in different lighting conditions, etc., and just trying to get alot of practice.
Easy To Use; Good Beginner Slr; Good Image Quality; I Liked The Bundle; Instrmanual Was Great; Still Practicing
None so far
If you've been using Canon kit for a few years and are looking to replace an entry-level DSLR with something more up-to-date, the EOS 600D is an excellent halfway house between a low-spec DSLR and a semi-professional model such as the EOS 60D or EOS 7D.
I like photographing people as well as landscapes - at times people in landscapes - the features on the 600D givem me the quality of results that I am looking for.The resolution is impressive allowing for poster sized prints and for details from within images to be eminently printable .
A Lot Of Control Features; Great Features; Great Picture Quality; Intuitive Menus; Lightweight
It Takes A While To Learn
This review is based upon my own experience, throughout the 2 years I have used this camera. Back in 2011 I started to take pictures. I was using my phone at first and bought a compact camera. After a few years, and a few different cameras, I wanted to upgrade to something a little more...
Lots of lenses; Great price; Image quality; nicely weighted; decent battery; flip out screen
not full frame; not weather sealed
Great for budget photographers and filmmakers, better Canon DSLR's available at higher prices
Flip-out Screen; Auto-Gain Control; Excellent Image and Video Quality
Lots of plastic(easily broken if dropped); Does not have a full-frame sensor
Canon's EOS 600D further blurs the line between a beginner and professional DSLR. Although it has a smaller frame and lacks a second control dial and screen, it still packs a lot of features.
Good image and video quality; handy 3in articulated screen; fast autofocus with viewfinder; can wirelessly control other flash units
Live View mode is slow to start up; Autofocus is noisy in video mode
Canon's triple-digit range of advanced entry-level digital SLRs has come a long way since the 6.3-megapixel 300D exploded onto the market in 2003, ushering in the era of the sub-£1000 consumer DSLR.
Overall this is a great camera.
