Quality

Great camera, photos look amazing. Easy to use, feels good in the hands, untold functions but easy to navigate through them. Brilliant bit of kit, and almost all the Canon lenses will fit this body, so it can last years and still stay up to date. Very pleased!!

Canon has thrown a tough competition to its rivals in the category of DSLR cameras by introducing a new compact, portable and intelligent DSLR camera that would take your photography experience to a new level.

Impressive image quality; firm grip and handling; Full HD video recording; rotating LCD and HDMI output

Live View AF is not very fast, frame rate for sports shooting is slow; and has a possibility to overexpose in dazzling sunlight;

Canon EOS 600D – Review

Juha Saarinen looks at the piggy in the middle DSLR from Canon. Canon makes lovely gear – mostly – but the Japanese imaging giant has an annoying tendency to come up with confusing product lines. For instance, you may wish to buy an expensive full-frame DSLR for the benefits a bigger imager brings.

Excellent 18.7MP APS-C sensor; Image quality even at high ISO levels

Somewhat plasticky and insubstantial construction; Not great value in NZ

Fantastic value for money!

I'm into filming short films, and I needed to upgrade to a better camera, and this was a great entry model camera that did all the 1080P that I wanted. But since I've bought it, I've found a new love for photography that I never had, and I just love going out with friends for photo shoots!

Nice features/settings; Quick Start-up time; Excellent image quality; Bright LCD; Solid Operation; Easy to use

Short battery life; Heavy/Bulky

Canon 600d

After my first afternoon shooting with my new 600d, I'm enormously impressed with both usability and sharpness of photos. JB service and pricing was very competitive, out doing competitors that I compared to. Looking forward to developing my knowledge of my new camera.

The EOS 650D/Rebel T4i provides an interesting window into Canon's thinking with regard to the entry-level DSLR market. The Rebel series of cameras is one with long-standing success that predates the digital revolution. And they remain very popular today.

Comprehensive touchscreen interface that is intuitive and efficient; High image quality with good balance between detail and noise reduction in JPEG output; Good subject tracking AF in viewfinder shooting mode (compared to mirrorless competition; 5 fps with ample buffering in JPEG-only mode; Very...

Slow 'hybrid AF' performance in live view and video modes (compared to mirrorless competition; Slightly higher noise levels than its peers; Default dynamic range lags a bit behind its peers; Using flash with Auto ISO enabled results in ISO 400 even in bright light conditions; Cannot configure common...

EOS Rebel T3i

I am an older user and with mostly point and shoot experience. It takes beautiful pics in basic mode but also allows me to advance in simple steps to more advanced phortography. Also the T3i is relative easy for an older senior to use.

Fast auto-focus; Superior build quality; Super-sharp images; goog instructions

manual print too small

Excellent for beginners or pros

I am a film maker and I would refer this to any independant who is just starting out and wants to shoot their own film. With the canon 50mm f/1.8 lens, the bouqet is amazingly comparable to any $100,000 camera on the market.

It's a Canon; Ease of use; very affordable

short shooting time before over heating...but great in 3-6 minute increments

Just what we wanted and delivered ahead

We purchased this camera back to upgrade from an earlier model Rebel with only 10 megapixels. My wife likes to tale flower and other wildlife photos and the higher resolution allows for more latitude in cropping and resizing photos with out loss of resolution with the higher pixel count.

Fast / Accurate Auto-Focus; Good Image Quality; Good Image Stabilization; Large Clear LCD; Tilt /Swivel LCD
