I use this lens as a supplement to my bigger lenses (400mm and 500mm), mostly for wildlife photography. The lens is super sharp. While a bit on the heavy side, it is easily hand holdable.
Easy To Use; Quality Construction; Tack Sharp

This is a stunning lens with a great anti shake stabilizers both work 1st class , heavy lens but i have it on a holster on my 7d mk2 plus i use a 1.4x mk3 extender to get even closer.
VERY FAST FOCUS; SHARP AND GREAT BOKEH
HEAVY AND PRICE
[5D mark III user] personally cant justify the cost in terms of affordability but reading all the reviews and comments (accross the web) felt i needed it; not had chance for a proper shoot yet, but so far no doubt an excellent performance - sharp accurate fast - and all the rest of what you read.
price price price ok its heavy but thats probably the quality of materials make sure your bag can hold all your kit with this as well - its huge
This is a quality lens, sharpness and build quality is second to none. I decided to clear my camera bag out and go for quality instead of quantity. Having read all the reviews out there, this had to be my first choice.
Build quality; features and image quality
No matter who you buy this from; Canon has set the price high
Fantastic Product! Was able to capture some amazing images even being just a beginner enthusiast. The sharpness of portraits is out of the world. The image stabilization works well. The focus and zoom rings are smooth and just right. Its taking me some time to focus on moving objects.
Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS II USM (covers all formats, 77mm filters, 4 feet/1.2m close-focus, 52.4 oz./1,485g without collar, about $1,999 .) enlarge . I got mine at Adorama . I'd also get it at Amazon , at B&H or at Crutchfield .
The 70-200 f/2.8 lens is just the best! Although a little heavy, the IS certainly helps. As a wedding photographer, this lens is a must have. I have rented it for the past 4 years and decided it was time to stop the renting game and make the dive and buy it. No regrets, this lens is very worth it.
This is my review of the Canon EF 70-200mm F/2.8L II USM. The purpose of this legendary lens is to provide mid-range telephoto zoom focal lengths for multiple photographic purposes.
great quality products at very reasonable prices, also quick responds from seller.
I've owned this Lens for about a Month now. I'm replacing a used Sigma 70-200mm 2.8 which is a fine Lens, but in this instance, the Canon is worth the extra money. I have a Side Line Photography Business that is continuing to grow.
