The Canon CanoScan LiDE110 Color Image Scanner ($59.99 direct) stands out from the crowd for one simple reason. It's hard to find another flatbed photo scanner today that doesn't include film scanning.
High quality photo scans; Backlight correction; Color restore; Scans to searchable PDF format
Extremely limited features in bundled software
Good product and quick delivery.
I had never used or thought about scanners before but decided to make photobook for my daughter when she turned 30 so lots of baby/childhood photos in non digital form- they all came out really well.
Went for it 15 days back by seeing flipkart reviews. Firstly, again impresssed with Flipkart service, got it delivered in 4 days. Secondly, regarding the product; very user friendly, beautiful look, took less than 1 hr to get used to it, quality of scan is satisfactory, makes a little noise but...

The Canon CanoScan LiDE110 Color Image Scanner ($59.99 direct) stands out from the crowd for one simple reason. It's hard to find another flatbed photo scanner today that doesn't include film scanning. If the only photos you want to scan are prints, that can be a problem, because adding the ability to scan film adds cost as well. Fortunately, it works the other way too. Leaving the film scan feature out translates to a lower price. It's also an easy pick for Editors' Choice. The LiDE 110 offers most of the same features as the LiDE 100, including 2400 pixel per inch (ppi) optical resolution and reasonably high scan quality. It doesn't come with much software, but the included MP Navigator EX scan utility offers limited photo enhancement and photo album features along with built-in optical character r...
The Canon CanoScan LiDE 110 Color Image Scanner is aimed at people who want to scan photographic prints without paying extra for a film scanning feature they don't need.

This is one of the best models out there if you just want a fairly basic scanner that is easy to use without a lot of complex options. You don't get the best picture quality possible with this one, but it's still pretty good.
