This is a monotone black laser printer. However the scanner is full color so you can scan in color documents/photos and print them on a color printer.
The copy quality is also excellent from the scanner when using the printer as a copier.

Purchased the Brother DCP7065DN for a Linux PC to replace a similar Canon. Very happy with the upgrade. Brother has Linux drivers, Canon has poor third party drivers.
There were a few steps to get the driver installed.

Highly recommend. Support is excellent. Please do not give up the support element. Questions may be minimal to you but important to use. Don't stop just because it is over 90 or some such other nonsense. That only tends to anger the customer. I own 7 of your printers.

laser printers do have very high quality printing with them whether they are of any company. the benefit with this printer is of the additional features with it . the printer provides low cost printing with it and with low cost, it is also a heavy duty printer and can print a lot in a minute.

I use this for the bulk of my printing and have had it for over two years now. No problems or issues have come up. I would recommend the company-brand toner replacements over the generic ones as these last longer and are more reliable despite costing a bit more.

I like the size of the unit. It has great print quality and speed. Quality product at a very reasonable price.

This printer is great and is as stated. DO NOT BUY the recommended cable with this printer. The cable must be 6 feet or less in length for the printer to work properly.

Did you read the Instruction Manual? Did you listen to the sales rep. when bought the computer, OR read the fine print on the Brother web page? IF YOU HAD, you would know that shipping printers with "starter cartridges" (both ink jet and laser) that usually print only 150 copies or so, and that you...

Have had it a couple of weeks now. Install was a breeze. Pages print fast and are clear and crisp. It's a bit loud, so if you print a lot, and it's going to be located next to your workstation, I might check into other printers. But at the price point it works great.
