Some of the missions are nearly impossible and I fly scale R/C. Recommended for fun only.

Not a real flight simulator, but fun to mess with.

Blazing Angels

Written by DM There are not many propeller-driven aerial combat games that come along these days. Only three or four spring to mind, and half of those were not very good. Crimson Skies is one of my favorite games of all time, does Blazing Angels measure up Let's find out.

Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII

Considering the number of shooting and driving games that are produced, I'm surprised that we don't see more flying games of some sort. Of those that have been published in the last three years or so, they've all been firmly rooted at the action/arcade end of the realism scale.

Entertaining dogfighting and bombing; Online play is smooth and fun; Some nice graphical touches

Really annoying radio chatter; No plot or anything to join campaign missions up; Graphically it's an Xbox game; not a 360 game

Blazing The Skies!

The game takes you to locations around the globe to fight in during World War 2, from covering the evacuation of Dunkirk at the very beginning of the war to fighting in the Battle of Britain; in bitter dog fights over Berlin and to the blood-stained azure blue skies of the pacific.

Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII Review

Looking back on games is a notoriously unreliable exercise, even for reviewers who've penned hundreds of critiques. If you love a game to bits, it's only natural to defend its faults and gloss over the problems you encountered.

Nice.

Well, it is one of the finest fighter plane games currently available. It is also a game you will play over and over if you like this sort of thing. Good missions, not too technical on the controls, good mini-quests. Yeah, it's well worth a few quid. Try it.
