Batman Arkham City - Review

2009 Batman: Arkham Asylum was hailed by many as the greatest superhero game of all time, but Batman: Arkham City arguably takes the genre to new heights with the introduction of a stunning open-world setting and more fully-realised characters.

Batman: Arkham City

The engaging story, beautifully twisted environments, superb voice acting and deep combat make playing Batman: Arkham City an absolute pleasure. There's tonnes to do and it's all great fun.

Batman: Arkham City Review (Xbox 360)

Arkham Asylum rocked my expectations of what a game based on an established franchise can be, if handled properly. One moment, videogames based on comic book superheroes are all dumb and doomed to mediocrity at best, the next, we're looking to the next game based on Batman as a probable contender...

Batman: Arkham City – review

It's rare for any game to receive unanimous praise, but when Arkham Asylum came out in 2009, players and critics alike were wowed by a superlative Batman experience that transcended the thoroughly stale superhero genre. Unsurprisingly, then, expectations for the sequel are high.

If you're planning on playing Arkham City, which you totally should, then this is a DLC I highly recommend you consider. With Catwoman as a new playable character, new riddler trophies to find, and new challenge maps, you'd be hard pressed to find a better DLC for the game.

For years, we've always dreamed of being Batman; now you can with Arkham City. Use a myriad of Bat gadgets and save a fallen city from the clutches of some of the most evil villains in the Dark Knight's history.

Batman: Arkham City – The Verdict

Back in 1997, R-Kelly sang that Gotham City was a City of Justice, Love and Peace (for everyone of us.) I'm not sure he was talking about the same city we all thought he was at the time, if the menagerie of crooks, criminals and villains that inhabit the part of Gotham where the events of Batman:...

10.27| Batman: Arkham City

Rocksteady does the impossible by creating another "Best Comic Book Game" to follow-up their last "Best Comic Book Game." Expanded, improved and flawlessly executed, 'Batman: Arkham City' is exactly what we wanted and then some.

It's true, Arkham City is even better than Asylum, I'm in love with a Cat; Catwoman is flawlessly designed, Storytelling at its best, this is A+ comic-book material, Arkham City size and scope is perfect, Highly detailed game, from the graphics to the DC lore, Lots of unlockables, side-quests, and...

No Bat and Cat co-op multiplayer; Reuses the same locations over multiple objectives
