We all know the rule: games based on mainstream licenses almost always suck. Occasionally we get one that's not half-bad, but only on a few rare occasions can we find a movie, cartoon, or comic book-based game that stands up with the very best non-licensed releases.

All in all, Batman: Arkham City is a great game that stands as one of the best comic-book inspired games yet. It really does make you feel like Batman, and it is a great feeling.

Rocksteady Studios simply astonished us back in 2009, with their captivating action adventure, Batman: Arkham Asylum . As gamers grew tired of the whole super-hero (or indeed the 'anti-hero') concept, nobody really expected that a new Batman game would be such a hit.

Everything just feels in place; the visuals; the music; the voice acting; the gameplay; it feels complete in every way

I guess the main story could've been a little longer and the boss encounters a bit more challenging
