I was replacing an older Linksys Wireless-N router and the biggest issue I had was range and stability. The Asus RT-AC68U has been solid for about a week now. I am most impressed with the range.

I always get nervous changing things on my home network; I was able to change my router and configure my whole network within two hours; I have a system in which I utilize 4 powerline units (netgear); 2 Router access points belkin and linksys; media server; dedicated NAS--synology; dedicated
cost; however, as with most things you get what you pay for
A lot of options for manual configuration
Bandwidth control is not as flexible as it should be; I.e cannot specify a rule where wired clients take priority over wireless without having all clients connected, then choosing their priority level.

ADSL2+ sync; WiFi range; User Interface; Build; Parental Controls
I really cant fault anything; the product is great

Strong short and long range wireless performance; Integrated VDSL2 modem; Intuitive setup; All-in-one upgrade on an ISP supplied router
Edged out by dedicated AC1900 routers; UI a little dated; Rivals cheaper if the integrated modem isn't key; Only one USB port
The Asus DSL-AC68U is a great 802.11ac modem router, with excellent software and decent performance at a reasonable price.
Asus' wireless routers have impressed us when we've reviewed them in the past; the manufacturer has won the overall award in our last two wireless router Labs tests. The RT-AC68U model is the highest specification router we've seen from the firm, offering 802.11ac wireless at speeds of up to...
