Assassin's Creed

Hmmm. It looked so good in promo movies shown a year ago, even though you could spot some horrible tearing as the camera swivelled and a few other glitches as well. Ah whatever, the animation was so damn good and the intense fighting action looked to be well done too, Assassin's Creed promised to be...

Altair's animation and free running agility is a joy to watch; Remarkably detailed realisation of Holy Land locations; You can get truly medieval on enemies with some brutally realistic moves; Busy; heaving; well-populated cities; Occasionally provides great atmosphere and sweeping vistas; Plenty to...

Some tearing and the odd glitch; Being an assassin is not as varied as it should be; Not enough stealth; Missions become samey after a while; The animus plot "twist" in the game is underdeveloped and frankly; crap

Disappointing!

Ubisoft have worked hard on this game, not just in developing it but also marketing it. When we saw the first videos of Assassin's Creed the reception was very positive. A huge, sprawling city set in the swords and sandals world of the twelfth century Middle East replete with cinematic, acrobatic...

Action/Adventure/Third Person Ubisoft's medieval sleath-'em-up fails to stand out from the crowd. When Assassin's Creed switched from being a PS3 exclusive title to a multi-format one, 360 owners were understandably smug about their choice of console.

Assassin's Creed (Xbox 360)

Gorgeous graphics. This game took all of the great elements of Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell, and made it into one great masterpiece. A lot of repetition in this game, but it was still fun to do over and over again. No multiplayer, but hey, does every game need to have multiplayer?

Assassin's Creed (360)

Here is a world so real, that you can actually feel the sweat trickling over the contours of your face, feel the heat rising as you fly around narrow alleys, brandishing your sword. The Assassin's Creed is set in 1191 AD, when the Holy Land was being ramped by the Third Crusade.

sick

sick game seriously, one thing though, dont get put off by the the start...the start is tedious and boring and ya just wanna get to the action...then you go through a big tutorial! but thats normal init.

Assassin's Creed

A highly hyped game often involves a risk: to succeed or to fail miserably. If the industry simplified a great number of known franchises to please the casual gamer, the number of games developed for a public thirsty for more complex stories still strong.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - The Da Vinci Disappearance

There are two ways we could present this DLC expansion pack for Ubisoft's outstanding Assassin's Creed Brotherhood to you. One is to be terse and flippant: it's essentially more of the same, and if you've already enjoyed the main game then there's nothing here you're going to dislike, so just go and...
