Alan Wake Review

Alan Wake has been entirely worth the wait. Remedy gave themselves a cool nine months just to perfect the title and it's clear they have used their time wisely. Very few games deliver such technical splendour AND intense plot.

Magnetic story and interesting gameplay, though its slow in in-game cutscenes but don't let that get you down.

A top notch game in psychological horror and thriller genres, I loved the gameplay and story of Alan Wake. It heavily loans references from Stephen King's works and The X-Files and incorporates an episodic structure for the missions emphasizing its value on the narrative.

Alan Wake (Xbox 360)

This adventure game is fantastic to play, this game is like a Stephen King movie. The story in this game is great and long, so if you like me and collect everything it will be quite a long time before you finish it to 100%.

31ST OF MARCH!.........YEAH RIGHT!

This game has been in microsoft game studios pipelines for years, it was used initially as an Intel tech demo before they released the core 2 duo processors. it has been put back time after time and i hope that ms can stick to this release schedule.

Alan Wake

The suspense/horror novels have been a favorite of mine for a long time. While my English teachers were assigning required reading such as Of Mice and Men or Great Gatsby, my nose was buried deep in the works of Stephen King and Dead Koontz.

scary

I like the innovation : apart from the Quantic Dream team, this is one of the first narrator story (max payne style) that takes place in an environment of horror/suspense. The story is solid. The end is horrifying

OXCGN's Alan Wake Review: A Waking Nightmare

So. Alan Wake. The story of the game's development is almost as interesting as the game itself – a twisting tale of extended production, major design changes, exclusivity deals, removal of the PC version and numerous E3 showings that each displayed a seemingly different game.

Alan Wake Review

At E3 2005, Finnish developer Remedy (of Max Payne fame) pulled me aside for a behind-closed-doors view of a freshly-announced title called Alan Wake. While there was little in the way of actual gameplay, the technology they showcased was beyond anything I'd seen to date.
