Bought it for my parents and they use it every day. They do not own cell phones yet and this is a great way to keep in touch using I messaging through wifi.
Why settle for a clone - or a model with less memory
Being used to write this review. Great product - this item is a trade-up from a first-time 16GB model that lasted 3 years. Space is a consideration - especially as most apps seem to update on a frequent basis. Lightning adaptor was the only surprise.
A pretty good iPad for a great price.
Everything seems ok except for 2 things. 1. The iPad won't connect to my Bluetooth device. Have tried all suggestions. 2. It only transferred about half of my songs from me old iPad. Otherwise it seems to be a great iPad.
The fourth iPad is here, and is a solid contender for any consumer.
After kicking the tires on the fourth iteration of the iPad, it's easy to see that, although it's an incremental update, the newest iPad is the best one of the bunch. Not only does the new processor make the experience much more rewarding, but the Lightning dock connector saves a bunch of hassle...

It's only been seven months since Apple brought us the iPad 3 , or new iPad, and now we have the iPad 4, or fourth generation iPad with Retina display. Read our iPad 4 review to find out what's new. See also : iPad 4 features .
Apple iPad with retina display review Review
Apple's latest iPad is the best iPad yet, even if its no longer the smallest, or the cheapest. As such, this model now becomes the height of tablet luxury, and the one to investigate if you care about having the best screen, and the best compatibility with cutting-edge apps.- A6X chip delivers even more speed
- 4G-compatible in the UK
- Best-in-class app selection
- Still feels heavy to hold in one hand
- Lightning port means older chargers and accessories won't work
iPad with Retina Display Review
Unless you simply must always have the latest and greatest, iPad 3 owners don't need to upgrade yet-this new iPad is basically an iPad 3S. But iPad 2 owners will love this...unless they fall for the iPad mini first.- Faster than iPad 3
- Better graphics performance.
- No further improvements to the camera or other design tweaks just yet
Review: Fourth-generation iPad is faster, stronger, better
(1 items) The release of the fourth-generation iPad so soon after the third-generation iPad may have come as a surprise to even diehard Apple watchers, but the device itself won't.- Incredibly fast performance
- Lightning connector improves over dock-connector
- Better camera performance overall
- Slightly decreased battery life
- Lightning accessories still in short supply
