So should you get the iPad? Well it really depends on what you want to do with it. On the one hand, if you're looking for a netbook replacement, you're definitely not going to find it here - while the iPad can do a bit of lightweight word processing and presentations, the many drawbacks mean that...
Pros:
- : Gorgeous screen
- long battery life
- extensive application support
Cons:
- : No USB port

Apple iPad Review: The Retina Display Redefines the Tablet
The 2012 refresh of the Apple iPad wows, but not for the reasons so often associated with Apple products.

Apple iPad with retina display review Review
Apple's latest iPad is the best iPad yet, even if its no longer the smallest, or the cheapest. As such, this model now becomes the height of tablet luxury, and the one to investigate if you care about having the best screen, and the best compatibility with cutting-edge apps.
Pros:
- A6X chip delivers even more speed
- 4G-compatible in the UK
- Best-in-class app selection
Cons:
- Still feels heavy to hold in one hand
- Lightning port means older chargers and accessories won't work

Apple iPad (4th generation)
Of course it's the best tablet out there... It's made by CrApple and this is CNET. Enough said. Thankfully it's not a Lomas review which never fail to morph into a no holds barred CrApple love in. I have never really been the greatest fan of Apple products.
Pros:
- Another CrApple product designed to make the company more money from the flocks of iSheep that will undoubtedly "upgrade" after only a few months of having the last one
Cons:
- It's another technically sub par CrApple product marketed to brainwashed iSheep to get their money from them

Breaking its very own sacred routine of releasing a new iPad model every year, Apple undeniably took everyone by surprise as they not only announced one new iPad, but two at its most recent San Francisco event.
Pros:
- Premium construction
- Impressively detailed and accurate Retina Display
- High caliber performance
- Above average battery life
Cons:
- Not much of a serious upgrade to the iPad 3

iPad with Retina Display Review
Unless you simply must always have the latest and greatest, iPad 3 owners don't need to upgrade yet-this new iPad is basically an iPad 3S. But iPad 2 owners will love this...unless they fall for the iPad mini first.
Pros:
- Faster than iPad 3
- Better graphics performance.
Cons:
- No further improvements to the camera or other design tweaks just yet

Review: Fourth-generation iPad is faster, stronger, better
(1 items) The release of the fourth-generation iPad so soon after the third-generation iPad may have come as a surprise to even diehard Apple watchers, but the device itself won't.
Pros:
- Incredibly fast performance
- Lightning connector improves over dock-connector
- Better camera performance overall
Cons:
- Slightly decreased battery life
- Lightning accessories still in short supply

Apple iPad 4 (4G Version) Review
We were all taken aback when Apple released this fourth-generation iPad, not least because it came out at the same time as the iPad Mini , and only six months after the third-gen device had been released. Enter some angry Apple fans who had just paid out for a device that was already out of date.
Pros:
- Great Retina display
- Amazingly good battery life
- Nice range of apps
- 4G support
- improved FaceTime camera
Cons:
- Not terribly portable
- Lacks memory card slot
