The IPad 4 is only a slightly revised version of the previous 3rd generation IPad. For those looking for major upgrades, this may come as a slight disappointment. The processor capabilities and graphics performance is decidedly better but otherwise not much of the tablet has been changed by Apple.

Apple iPad (Third generation) Review
It's not that Apple iProducts aren't good enough – it's that they're not 'better' enough. The new Apple iPad (or iPad 3, or whatever you want to call it) packs a shimmering new high definition display, a couple extra graphics cores for its processor and an updated five-megapixel camera.
Pros:
- Incredibly sharp
- realistic display super-enhances movies
- gaming
- web and photos
- gorgeous hardware and software design
- 200,000 iPad-optimised apps
- upgraded camera
Cons:
- Comparatively little on-board storage
- especially for a HD-media-oriented device
- front-facing camera still only VGA quality

Apple iPad with Retina Display
The Apple iPad was the highest scoring tablet overall in our test and the best for all-around use
Pros:
- Very large screen for its size
- Very high resolution
- Excellent screen and sound quality
- Excellent camera/video
- Very fast system speed
- Consumer testers loved the design and feel
- Consumer testers loved the camera functionality
Cons:
- Slightly heavy for its size
- Few connectivity options

A brilliant, multifunctional device

Love it - love - it love it
So easy to use. clear screen, long battery life After a few days you'll wonder how you coped with out one. Took the iPad camping to watch tv on it instead of a TV, top box and aerial etc.
Pros:

- take it out
- set it up and off you go

Love this product
I've wanted an iPad for months and when i finally got one its just as good as I expected!! Really good picture, features and has a lot of apps for you chose from and can even find apps from an iPhone if they arent on the iPad. A great buy and would recommend to anyone!

iPad 1 is now pretty old and for about the same cost you get better Apple tablets. iPad is the best tablet in the consumer market, its latest versions have always set the bar which so far no other tablet has been able to reach. The built and performance makes it all worth it.

Good but pricey
It's it the best tablet so far, but the price is too pricey. The screen resolution is better than any tablet out there, and the processor is really fast. If you have the money to spend then I recommend this but if you are short budget then go for the windows surface.

Great fun!
Collected today and up and running shortly after arriving home! I'm sure it will be a learning curve getting the most out of it too. Had tremendous help when ordering through customer services - a good team effort - thank you.

its a well rounded system just the itunes is the only let down for the product
