- Apple's not tinkered with the formula much: the metal iPad 4G is the identical size to the third gen, and it's all the better for it
- This is the most polished, premium slate on the market, even if it's not the lightest
- The screen is the crown jewel though, and has to be seen to be believed.
- You could argue that the new port on the bottom of the new iPad 4G is a downgrade: the smaller Lightning port is easier to use
- but it does mean it won't work with existing cables
- docks and accessories.

I bought my iPad 4 about 18 months ago to join my Brennan JB 7 as my last purchases into the world of 'modern' HiFi and technology. Being of mature years and not in a position to upgrade that often some may think that my gear is somewhat out of date and past it.

Why settle for a clone - or a model with less memory
Being used to write this review. Great product - this item is a trade-up from a first-time 16GB model that lasted 3 years. Space is a consideration - especially as most apps seem to update on a frequent basis. Lightning adaptor was the only surprise.
