Sony has released its second generation Xperia XA-series and Xperia L2 phones at CES in Las Vegas. The fingerprint sensor is positioned at the back and the metal casing on the back creates a premium feel.
Sony Xperia XZ1 is the successor to Xperia XZ and the smaller XZ Compact. It will launch on the 31st of August in Germany. The new phone runs on the yet-to-launch AndroidO operating system.
Sony has been one of the most active phone makers at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The new flagship phone Sony Xperia XZ Premium and its more affordable sibling XZs were the main focus of attention. The Japanese company also released two new mid-range phones: Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra. Sony’s new Xperia XZ flagship phone breaks records when it comes to the camera resolution, and the 23 MP sensor employed by the rear camera is almost twice as large as that found on competitors’ phones.
