Sony has released its second generation Xperia XA-series and Xperia L2 phones at CES in Las Vegas. The fingerprint sensor is positioned at the back and the metal casing on the back creates a premium feel.
A new processor and battery combined with partly new hardware yield speed and power for the new Sony Alpha A7R III. As a result, the autofocus and the number of frames per second are both really impressive.
Sony Xperia XZ1 is the successor to Xperia XZ and the smaller XZ Compact. It will launch on the 31st of August in Germany. The new phone runs on the yet-to-launch AndroidO operating system.
Sony claims to have eliminated some of the remaining performance gaps for its mirrorless cameras compared to DSLR cameras. The newly released Sony Alpha A9clearly targets professional photographers with a 24.2 MP sensor, shooting at 20 frames per second and recording in HD format.
