More and more devices are wireless these days including headphones and increasingly support some health or training function. Jabra’s popular Sport series does both, which explains the series appeal to consumers that frequently exercise. The company launches special editions for Jabra Sport Pulse and Sport Coach.
The next generation of the sports-focused wireless Bluetooth headphone Jabra Sport Pulse and the coaching equivalent Sport Coach is a natural evolution of Jabra’s product portfolio. The two new headphones are designed for rough use and are IP55 certified. This means that they are both water and dust resistance. Jabra markets the phones as being “sweat resistant“, but that feels a bit like a marketing ploy since water resistance covers sweat! There are different ear wings and gels accompanying the headphones in order to ensure a good fit.
Jabra Sport Pulse
The Jabra Sport Pulse Special Edition offers a complete heart-rate monitoring system. It includes Jabra’s renowned in-ear biometric pulse and tracking meter as well as an accompanying monitoring app. The Jabra Sports Life app centers around the user’s own VO2 Maxwhen calculating and reporting training progress and stats like pace, distance, and training effect. The ear-buds are capable of coaching the user and provide real-time feedback during the training. Hence, Jabra manages to emulate the feedback that a coach gives during training sessions.
