Motorola Endeavor HX1 Bluetooth Headset

Product: Motorola Endeavor HX1 Manufacturer: Motorola MSRP: $129.99 Author: Nick Date: October 8, 2009 For a long time now, Aliph's Jawbone has been the front runner in background noise cancellation. Many have tried to beat the Jawbone only to fall short.

Comfortable to wear; Fits different sized ears; Stealth mode extremely effective; Buttons not hidden under a shield; Dedicated volume buttons

Noise cancellation abilities affected by positioning in ear

It's one of the best sounding Bluetooth headsets we've ever used, though its voice quality in "stealth" mode could be vastly improved and the Motorola Endeavor HX1 doesn't come cheap.

Boasting built-in bone conduction - which translates jawbone vibrations into speech - Motorola's Endeavour HX1 Bluetooth headset is an intriguing device. It's one of the best sounding Bluetooth headsets we've ever used, though its voice quality in "stealth" mode could be vastly improved and it...

Bone-conduction technology (stealth mode); great voice quality in standard mode; nullifies background noise effectively; excellent incoming audio; good build quality

Expensive; chunky; voice in stealth mode doesn't sound natural; in-ear design won't suit everyone

Excellent noise reduction but.....

i like it. but you need ot get used to it since it hurts in the beginning. my biggest issue is that it dies after 8 months. However, Motorola is replacing it for free.

Clear Reception; Easy Controls

Not Durable

The battery life on this device is also very awesome, I have never had it die on me once, I always charge it every night along side my cell phone, so I have no problems connecting them both together and getting on with my day.

If you could mix Achilles, Pai Mei, Dole Mite and make a bar code scanner..

"Wow" would best sum up this scanner. I've bought a slew of cheap pieces of junk over the years that didn't last very long, scan very well and where over all obnoxious to use. (Barely less obnoxious than typing in huge numbers on a number pad-less keypad!

Motorola Endeavor HX1

The Motorola Endeavor HX1 isn't an ordinary Bluetooth headset. Along with Motorola's CrystalTalk technology and a two-mic design, the HX1 features bone conduction technology with a special in-ear sensor for combating external noise that would otherwise trip up an external mic.

Very good audio quality; Excellent noise canceling; Stellar battery life.

Voice quality is ever-so-slightly behind the top of the class; Stealth mode degrades sound quality to other callers

Motorola recently introduced the Endeavor HX1 Headset. This hands free device is bluetooth enabled, and features Motorola's CrystalTalk technology along with the new Stealth Technology. The Stealth Technology uses bone conduction (not a microphone) to relay only your voice.
