Yamaha WXAD-10

Pros: Easy to install, with dependable wireless connectivity, Superb audio performance for the cash, Can upgrade a variety of legacy audio hardware

Yamaha WXAD-10 (MusicCast Add) review

Pros: Superb streaming audio performance, MusicCast wireless multiroom compatibility, Easy to set-up, 24-bit Hi-Res Audio support
Cons: No DSD file compatibility, Rival Chromecast Audio is as cheap as chips
Verdict: With the WXAD-10 you can turn any non-network audio gear into a fully-functional multiroom wireless component. If you have a regular two channel amplifier, all-in-one music system or legacy AV receiver, this is all you need to get them online.

Easy to set up. Reliable. Good sound.

Verdict: Been holding off for a month to make sure that I get a balanced view of this device. My CD player died a few months back. As most of my music is ripped to mp3 and m4a and copied onto my android phone and ipad, I tried relying on a chromecast audio that I had bought a year ago.

Good streamer, terrible app

Verdict: When you get the streamer to work sound quality is very good, especially when hi-res or CD quality streaming. However, the app that controls the whole thing is awful (on iOS) - keeps hanging and doesn't see the streaming apps or iTunes.
