Poco X3 Pro Review

The Poco X3 Pro is a very capable cheap phone that should be a hit among gamers on a budget, thanks to its punchy processor and strong screen. The camera doesn't reach quite the same giddy heights, but overall it's a very tempting package if you're on a £200 price limit.

Excellent processor; Very responsive large screen; Great value for money;

Divisive design; Middling camera; Sub-optimal software;

Poco X3 Pro review: Is bigger better?

This phone is all about going big. It's got a big screen, big battery, and a low price point to give big appeal. But in some regards it's a bit too big for its own boots. The software doesn't quite connect - we've had notification problems which irk - while the sheer physical size and weight of this device mean other devices may hold greater appeal.

Qualcomm SD870 ensures smooth operation; No 5G cost/battery implication; Lasts for long innings per charge; Lush big-screen experience; Affordable price point expected;

It's a big and heavy device - more so than spec suggests; Design is somewhat bland; Cameras are the typical oversell; No 5G connectivity; Software has problems - especially with notifications;

Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro review

The Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro is the best gaming phone you can get for the cash at the time of review, with impressive power and a sharp, smooth screen, but camera quality takes a hit in return.

Superb gaming performance; Long battery life; Impressive 120Hz screen;

Relatively weak camera; No 5G; Large and heavy

Poco X3 Pro review

The Poco X3 Pro is for Android gamers or power users on a budget, with near-flagship processing power in one of the cheapest phones on the market. It's big, it's bulky, and the camera's not great - but it’s still astonishing that Xiaomi has pulled this off.

Phenomenal performance; Big 120Hz display; Long-lasting battery;

Big & bulky; No 5G; Average camera;

Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro smartphone review: Lots of power and features at a bargain price

Mid-range sprinter. An excellent price-performance ratio - not only is this characteristic of Xiaomi's Redmi series, but it's even more so when it comes to the manufacturer's Poco smartphones. The Poco X3 Pro is no exception: For 250 Euros (~$305), you get a fast Snapdragon SoC, a 6.7-inch IPS display with 120 Hz, a quad camera, 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The Poco X3 Pro proves to be a worthy representative of Xiaomi's Poco series, because it also offers...

bright 120 Hz IPS display; IP53 certification; UFS 3.1 storage; NFC; good GPS; fast Snapdragon 860 SoC; stereo speakers; good battery life;

no 5G; hybrid dual SIM only; weak macro lens; throttles under load;
