Xiaomi Mi Band 4

The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is a bold, bright and colourful addition to the ever-growing range of activity trackers on the market. If you want something that really stands out, this is the device for you.

So bright, you can't miss it

The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is the last word in highly visible activity trackers, with an all-new full colour AMOLED touch display that’s 39.9% larger and brighter than ever before. This is good news if you want an activity tracker that's easy to read when you're on the move.

Stay in touch

Even when you're out and about and being active, you can stay in touch with all email, text and app notifications being viewable.

A bright all-rounder

Beneath that vivid display is a smart and capable tracker that monitors your progress on most activities, including swimming: it's water resistant to upto 50 metres.

24/7 health monitoring

Even when you sleep, the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is looking out for your health through 24/7 heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking. The sleep monitoring function tracks light and deep sleep, as well as your heart rate during sleep to help you adjust your sleep patterns.

Idle alerts

The key to staying fit is staying active, and the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 keeps you moving with reminders if it notices that you've been idle for a certain period of time.

A battery that keeps going while you do

The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 is equipped with a battery that lasts for upto 20 days on a single charge.

The $40 Mi Band 4 is a nice fitness tracker - if you're already healthy

If you're in the market for a fitness tracker, you're more than likely hoping to modify your health behavior - whether it's remembering to walk more, tracking how often you work out, or making sure you're working out appropriately hard when you do.

14-day battery life; Bright; colorful screen; Feature-packed at rock-bottom price

Limited types of exercises tracked; Sleep tracking is not very accurate; Mi Fit app provides few actionable bits of advice

Mi Band 4 Review: So good, it makes the Mi Band 3 look ancient

Xiaomi's Mi band 3 launched in May 2018 to become one of the most popular fitness tracking wearables in India. This added up to the already mass-selling range of Xiaomi's wearables, comprising the Mi Band, the Mi Band 2, the Mi Band HRX edition and the Mi Band 3.

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 review

The Xiaomi Mi Band 4 delivers fantastic value and features. Upgrades over its predecessor include a color OLED display with significantly improved outdoor viewability and a higher resolution too.

Very cheap; Slimline design; Heart rate monitor

No GPS; No multitasking apps; Doesn't auto-stop tracking

Item is a knockoff and not a legitimate Xiaomi Mi Band 4. Told seller and seller advises that this is the "upgraded" version with no software bugs like the original. Seller wouldn't complete full refund but then I made a request to Amazon who then provided me with my full refund.

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 review: Cheap and decent activity tracking, but not for swimmers

In the world of activity trackers, nothing comes close to the Mi Band's value. Cheaper than any Garmin or Fitbit tracker, even the most basic vivofit4 and Inspire , but still packing enough functionality, it also benefits from Xiaomi's name recognition and is considered a serious choice, not a cheap...

Price $30-40 is cheap for what you get; Extremely cheap, Display It's bright, visible outdoors, beautiful, and doesn't affect battery life much, Battery life Even with auto-wake and heart rate measures every 30 minutes, plus some walks and swims, I can get about 10 days on a single charge, Google...

Interface It's not as customizable as I'd like; You can't reorder or hide exercise types, or remove unnecessary items from the More menu, Android app Clunky and shows ads; It's sad that you get ads even after having purchased the band, Swim tracking Worked well for the first two swims, then became...

At $40, should you buy the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 or pay double that for a comparable device from a competitor...

Low price point Accurate fitness; health; and sleep tracking Connected GPS is a big plus 20-day battery life Plenty of smart features and customization options

Mi Fit app won't be everyone's first fitness app choice Heart rate sensor struggles with high-intensity workouts

Xiaomi Mi Band 4 'leaks': Should Fitbit and the Apple Watch be worried

The below image seems to show that the Xiaomi Mi Band 4 will have a 0.95-inch full colour OLED display, with a tempered glass cover rather than plastic. This is a big improvement from the monochrome display of previous devices in the range, and should make it far more attractive to use - but we...

Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4 – Review

I have been very impressed with the Mi Smart Band 4, it is not perfect but at this price, there is very little to find fault with. It also will outlast the Energiser bunning on one charge which is awesome.
