The Xiaomi Mi 9 is just released and already making waves. One reason is the price. This flagship phone is incredibly affordable when you consider all the features you get.
The Mi 9 features a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel, with a waterdrop cut out for the front camera. Xiaomi says that Reading Mode 2.0 and Sunlight Mode 2.0 give the display a dynamic difference, while the panel is layered with Gorilla Glass 6. Look out too for the striking shades of blue that reflect off the device.
Xiaomi is keeping up with modern trends, and popular demand, by including an in-display fingerprint sensor in the Mi 9.
The price tag looks even better when you consider that the Mi 9 is one of the first devices to be powered by Qualcomm's latest chipset, the Snapdragon 855. This offers significant performance improvements over its predecessor - although the Snapdragon 845 was brilliant in its own right — and the node shift to 7nm will deliver a significant boost in energy-efficiency.
The Game Turbo feature starts as soon as you launch a game. This cool feature allows your device to perform at peak levels for longer amounts of time with higher framerates.
The three-camera set up on the back delivers more of Xiaomi's high-quality photographic results, thanks to a main 48MP f/1.75 camera, alongside a 16MP wide-angle lens and 12MP telephoto shooter. For crystal clear selfies, there's a 20MP camera upfront with HDR.
The Mi 9 comes with a fast wireless charging option, while the 3300mAh battery should last all day without too many problems.
