In an extremely uncharacteristic move from Nintendo, Monolith Soft have come out with the Xenoblade franchise's biggest piece of DLC ever – Torna ~ The Golden Country, a standalone expansion.

A fantastic standalone prequel that is held back by one really annoying design decision.

The icing on the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Season Pass is here. After sprinkling smaller drops of content for several months to feed the RPG that released for the Nintendo Switch a year ago, Monolith Soft. is coming full circle with the final expansion.

Bought this with the expansion pass for the main game, and all I need to say is it is amazing. This makes the main story of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 even better, and shows us how key characters got to where they are in the base game.

Xenoblade , as a franchise, has been on a bit of a downward trajectory since its inception.
