Worlds of Magic: Planar Conquest (PlayStation 4) Review

Worlds of Magic: Planar Conquest is obviously based on the Heroes of Might and Magic series, where there is a leader that gains skills and experience while commanding fantasy-themed monsters.

Some good ideas can't save middling execution

Neither good nor inherently bad, Worlds of Magic: Planar Conquest occupies a comfortable place as an average game among the 4x strategy genre. There are some things to like about the title, but there is a noticeable lack of polish that holds the game back in the end.

Three Stars

No Campaign to this; it's Sandbox only.

Boring stats monitoring

Real tedious gameplay. So boring having to feed a nation. Just want battles and fun!

kind of reminds me of shadow run. Good atmosphere, nice story. Just wish the fight system were more refined.

Dex Review – PlayStation 4

Cyberpunk, as a genre, means a lot to me. It's one of the last true new genres created within the past 50 years, and it started within my lifetime. Neuromancer, Shadowrun, Deus Ex… these stories felt new, weird, and tapped into something in my youth that I never knew I needed… but totally did.

Positives + Excellent, unique concept; + Well-designed world

Negatives - Poor writing, terrible characters; - Bad gameplay and mechanics
